Still just trucking along...

Hey guys, I am here and still just trucking along! I am eating fairly well most days, I only went off my WW points a couple of days. I think it is hardest when you are eating with others that can eat whatever or even when I go out with ones that are on the BL and they eat whatever, then I kinda just fall in with the crowd. Does that make sense? I need to become stronger with all of this I think! But I am trying so hard! We started the gym and it is great. I have a good time but walk away sore. It is a good feeling. I was feeling kinda bummed the other day because I have such a hard time losing weight and I get a little frustrated when I see everyone dropping pounds so easily. I am doing what has worked for so may. I eat 26WW points, I make sure my diet is balanced, that I get lean protein, plenty of fruits and veggies, I get plenty of fiber, but I just don't drop weight easily, it is like an old blanket that you just can't give up! I think my body just doesn't want to give up the weight! But my husband says, If I am eating healthy and doing everything I can do, and if I don't feel like I am starving and not getting enough food to sustain me then I am doing things right and that I should just keep it up, something will eventually change! So I am going to keep going and know that I am doing the right thing! We'll see how things go on the 5th!

So glad to see you post! :o) I totally agree with your hubby. Stick to what works for you and you will be successful. I love that you are loving the gym... it's kind of addicting huh?

Yeah it is hard when everyone is going out together, we are all on the same path and its easy to cheat! Some of us have more points, less points and so on. I think you are right, you have to do what is best for you. It's not fair that some of the women can "cheat" and not have the same recourse. I know you are doing all you can to make this happen, I see you as a great example of what we should do. So just keep up the good work, it HAS to happen for you!!

I know what you mean about the body not wanting to let go of the weight. I feel like my body thinks it needs it or something. Weight comes off very slowly and that is frustrating. I am glad we are in this together and there are all different takes on it... Seeing how everyone else feels and is doing helps keep things in perspective.

I so know how you feel. I don't feel like what i"m doing is paying off. But I agree with your hubby, as long as you are eating healthy, excercising and not doing what you did before (snack mindlessly or lounge around all day, etc. (not that you did that, just an example)), you will definatly see change!
