Week 2

Today starts a new week. I am feeling good! It has taken me some time to get all the WW stuff to settle into my mind! I didn't do the best last week, I had a hard time figuring out points. Then getting used to less food is also hard so I snack a little more on the first week. We had a date night with friends on Saturday night. The restaurant of choice was PF Chang's. I know I didn't do all that well there. I went with a plan but it didn't work out so well. I kinda already knew it probably wouldn't, but it was only one day and I know now that at this point in this challenge I am too new and I shouldn't put myself in that kind of situation. So I have moved on and am starting a new week. I didn't weigh today, I want to be surprised next week! As for exercise - We haven't started yet. My husband is my trainer, he is amazing. Since we just moved here a couple of months ago we haven't joined a local gym. His company is doing a cool promotion that gives you a discount at golds and then pays you $1 every time you go, so basically it pays for itself if you go enough! What motivation, no out of pocket expense for a gym membership! We will be going at least every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I am looking forward to it. My husband is my best friend and when we get to go to the gym together it is so much fun. It is like having a date night 3 extra nights a week! Don't get me wrong he makes me work, he wants this for me as bad as I want it, the idea of him losing his wife to diabetes is just not an option! SO LADIES HERE IS TO A GREAT SECOND WEEK!!!!

Keep it up Carrie! I know getting started and figuring things out can take awhile...give yourself time to adjust and put that gym incentive to good use! That is sweet!

Here Here!! My first week was not as great as I'd anticipated, but as you made clear, there's always the next week! And I'm sure jelous about your husband going to the gym with you. I wish mine would/could come with. It's so hard to get out together with little children. . .
